This Privacy Policy applies to information collected through Hypoll and through related services, features, communications, support channels, safety tools, and product experiences.

Polls, questions, answers, comments, messages, chat content, profile content, invitations, responses, reactions, reports, feedback, support requests, and other materials you provide through the service.
1.4 Communications and Messages
We may collect, access, analyze, store, process, and use communications and messages generated through Hypoll, including messages between users, support messages, safety reports, and communications with Hypoll.
We may use this information to operate, monitor, protect, personalize, moderate, develop, evaluate, train, and improve Hypoll, including our matching, recommendation, safety, moderation, and AI-powered systems, as described in this Privacy Policy and permitted by applicable law.
1.5 Voluntary Contributions and User-Generated Signals
We may collect information you choose to submit, answer, post, send, report, respond to, or otherwise contribute through Hypoll, including content, answers, prompts, polls, messages, feedback, reports, blocks, interaction signals, matching signals, outcome signals, safety signals, and other activity generated through the service.
We may use this information to operate, protect, personalize, evaluate, train, and improve Hypoll, including our matching, recommendation, safety, moderation, analytics, evaluation, and AI-powered systems.
1.6 Connections, Relationships, and Interaction Signals
We may collect information about your connections, matches, interactions, and relationships within Hypoll, including who you match with, interact with, answer, invite, block, report, message, view, respond to, or otherwise engage with.
We may also collect information about the frequency, timing, context, quality, and outcome of interactions to operate, personalize, protect, evaluate, train, and improve Hypoll, including our matching, recommendation, safety, moderation, analytics, and AI-powered systems.
1.7 Matching, Interaction, and Outcome Information
We may collect information about how you interact with Hypoll and other users, including:
Matches, likes, skips, views, answers, poll activity, chat activity, invitation activity, response activity, blocking activity, reporting activity, safety signals, recommendation signals, interaction outcomes, relationship-related signals, and other activity generated through the service.
1.8 AI Feature Interactions
If you use AI-generated or AI-assisted features on Hypoll, we may collect and process information related to those features, including prompts, inputs, uploads, outputs, edits, feedback, usage activity, timestamps, and related metadata.
We may use this information to operate, protect, personalize, evaluate, train, and improve Hypoll, including our AI-powered features, matching, recommendation, safety, moderation, and product quality.
1.9 Insights and Inferences
We may generate insights, inferences, scores, rankings, classifications, predictions, recommendations, safety signals, trust signals, compatibility signals, moderation signals, outcome signals, and other derived information based on your profile, content, answers, interactions, activity, device information, reports, blocks, communications, and use of Hypoll.
These insights and inferences may be used to operate, personalize, rank, recommend, moderate, protect, evaluate, train, and improve Hypoll, including our matching, safety, recommendation, moderation, and AI-powered systems.
1.10 Contacts Information
If you choose to grant contacts access, we may collect information from your device contacts to help you find people you may know or invite friends.
We use contacts access for invitation and friend discovery features. We will not message anyone from your contacts without your action.
If you choose to share information about other people with Hypoll, including contacts, you are responsible for ensuring that you have the right to do so and that your sharing complies with applicable law.
You can control contacts access through your device settings.
1.11 Photos, Camera, and Media
If you choose to upload photos or use your camera, we may collect photos, images, videos, media files, metadata, or camera-related information needed to provide those features.
You are responsible for ensuring that any photos, images, videos, or media you choose to upload or share comply with applicable law, our Terms, and our Community Guidelines.
You can control photos and camera access through your device settings.
1.12 Location Information
If you choose to enable location-based features, we may collect location information, such as approximate location, city, campus, or other location-related signals.
We may use location information to support matching, personalization, safety, local discovery, campus-based experiences, community features, or other location-based product experiences.

1.13 Device, Log, and Usage Information
We may automatically collect information about your device and use of Hypoll, including:
Device type, operating system, app version, IP address, device identifiers where permitted, browser type, language, time zone, crash logs, diagnostics, performance data, pages or screens viewed, taps, clicks, feature usage, session information, referral information, campaign information, and other technical or usage data.
1.14 Safety, Moderation, and Integrity Information
We may collect and generate information used to protect users and Hypoll, including:
Reports, blocks, moderation decisions, enforcement actions, trust signals, fraud signals, spam signals, abuse detection signals, device signals, account signals, behavioral signals, content review information, suspected policy violations, ban-evasion signals, and records related to safety, security, legal compliance, or platform integrity.
1.15 Communications With Hypoll
If you contact Hypoll, use the Hypoll Support Assistant, submit feedback, or email us, we may collect your message, contact information, support history, attachments, and information needed to respond.
1.16 Information From Third Parties
We may receive information from third-party services, providers, vendors, partners, or integrations, including:
Sign-in providers, app stores, analytics providers, customer support tools, cloud hosting providers, safety and moderation tools, notification providers, AI or LLM providers, and other service providers that help us operate, protect, analyze, personalize, and improve Hypoll.
If you connect a third-party service to Hypoll, that third party may share information with us based on your settings, authorization, and the third party’s policies.
Where permitted by law, we may also receive information about suspected or confirmed bad actors, fraud, abuse, spam, security threats, illegal activity, policy violations, ban evasion, or harmful conduct from service providers, safety partners, platforms, users, or other third parties.

Operate, protect, personalize, moderate, develop, evaluate, train, and improve Hypoll’s matching, recommendation, safety, moderation, integrity, evaluation, analytics, and AI-powered systems.
Monitor, review, analyze, and process content submitted, posted, sent, or exchanged through Hypoll to detect abuse, enforce our Terms and Community Guidelines, protect users, improve safety, improve product quality, and preserve platform integrity.
Detect, prevent, investigate, and respond to spam, scams, fake accounts, abuse, harassment, threats, illegal activity, platform manipulation, security incidents, ban evasion, and violations of our Terms or Community Guidelines.
Review reports, blocks, and objectionable content.
Use automated and manual review to detect, moderate, and improve content quality, safety, trust, and product quality.
Enforce our Terms, Community Guidelines, and other policies.
Send service messages, safety notices, account updates, product updates, support messages, and notifications.
Respond to questions, support requests, feedback, and disputes.

AI, Matching, Moderation, and Product Improvement
Hypoll may use automated systems, AI-powered tools, machine learning, user reports, safety signals, moderation review, user interaction signals, insights, inferences, and other information to operate, protect, personalize, monitor, develop, evaluate, train, and improve the service.
We may access, analyze, store, process, and use content, communications, messages, activity, interactions, connections, safety signals, insights, inferences, and other information generated through Hypoll to operate, monitor, protect, personalize, moderate, develop, evaluate, train, and improve Hypoll, including through automated technologies, machine learning, and AI-powered systems, as described in this Privacy Policy and permitted by applicable law.
If you choose to contribute content, answers, feedback, reports, outcomes, or other signals through Hypoll, we may use that information to improve existing features and develop new or additional features, including matching, recommendation, safety, moderation, analytics, evaluation, and AI-powered systems.
If you use AI-generated or AI-assisted features, we may use related prompts, inputs, outputs, edits, feedback, usage activity, and metadata to operate, protect, personalize, evaluate, train, and improve those features and Hypoll more broadly.
Where appropriate, we may use automated and manual review to detect, moderate, and improve content, safety, and product quality.
We may use aggregated, de-identified, pseudonymized, or system-level information to understand how Hypoll is used and to improve the quality, safety, reliability, matching, moderation, recommendation, evaluation, analytics, and AI-powered features of our service.
Where we treat information as de-identified, we take reasonable measures designed to maintain and use it in de-identified form, and we do not knowingly attempt to re-identify it except where permitted or required by law.
AI-generated, AI-assisted, matching-related, recommendation-related, compatibility-related, ranking-related, prediction-related, or relationship-related outputs may be incomplete, inaccurate, inappropriate, outdated, biased, misleading, offensive, harmful, or unsuitable for your situation.
You should not rely on these outputs as the sole basis for important personal, relationship, safety, legal, medical, mental health, financial, or other decisions.
Hypoll does not guarantee that any match, recommendation, answer, poll result, user-generated content, AI-generated output, AI-assisted output, compatibility signal, ranking, prediction, explanation, prompt, summary, or relationship-related suggestion will be accurate, complete, safe, suitable, successful, or lead to a successful conversation, friendship, date, relationship, or outcome.
If Hypoll provides AI-generated or AI-assisted features, you are responsible for reviewing and deciding whether to use, share, rely on, or act on any AI-generated or AI-assisted output.
Hypoll does not provide legal, medical, mental health, financial, or other professional advice. You are responsible for your own decisions, communications, meetings, and interactions with other users.
How We Share Information
We may share information in the ways described below.
4.1 With Other Users
Some information you provide or generate on Hypoll may be visible to other users based on product features, your settings, and your actions.
This may include profile information, photos, prompts, answers, polls, poll responses, invitations, messages, match-related activity, or other content you choose to share or make available.
Other users may view, save, screenshot, copy, share, record, or otherwise use information you make available to them. Hypoll cannot control what other users do with information after you choose to share it.
You should not share personal contact information, financial information, home addresses, account credentials, government identification, or other sensitive information in public or shared areas of Hypoll.
Content, answers, messages, poll results, recommendations, and information from other users may be inaccurate, incomplete, biased, misleading, offensive, harmful, or unsuitable for your situation. Hypoll does not verify all user content and is not responsible for decisions, actions, or failures to act based on user content or interactions.
4.2 With Service Providers and Vendors
We may share information with service providers, vendors, contractors, infrastructure providers, analytics providers, notification providers, customer support tools, safety and moderation tools, AI or LLM providers, and other third parties that help us operate, protect, personalize, analyze, and improve Hypoll.
These providers may help us host data, operate infrastructure, analyze usage, detect abuse, support moderation, provide customer support, send notifications, improve safety, power AI-related features, or perform other services for Hypoll.
Where appropriate, we require service providers to process information subject to confidentiality, security, contractual, or similar obligations designed to protect information.
4.3 With Third-Party Integrations
If you choose to connect or use a third-party service through Hypoll, we may share information you authorize or choose to share with that service.
Third-party services are governed by their own terms, privacy policies, and data practices. Hypoll is not responsible for third-party services, content, products, policies, security, or data practices.
4.4 For Safety, Legal, and Enforcement Reasons
We may access, preserve, use, or disclose information if we believe it is reasonably necessary to:

Enforce our Terms, Community Guidelines, or other policies.

Where permitted by law, we may share limited information with service providers, safety partners, platforms, industry groups, or other organizations when reasonably necessary to detect, prevent, investigate, or respond to fraud, abuse, spam, security threats, illegal activity, policy violations, ban evasion, or harm to users, Hypoll, or the public.

We may use and share aggregated, de-identified, or non-identifying information with third parties for analytics, research, benchmarking, product development, safety improvement, AI system improvement, industry analysis, market analysis, business analysis, partnerships, fundraising, investment, reporting, or other lawful purposes.
We do not intend for this information to identify you personally.

Third-party services may include sign-in providers, app stores, cloud hosting providers, analytics providers, customer support tools, notification providers, safety and moderation tools, AI or LLM providers, infrastructure providers, or other service providers that help us operate, protect, personalize, analyze, and improve Hypoll.
If you access Hypoll through an app store, mobile platform, device platform, carrier, or external service, that third party’s terms and privacy policies may also apply.
Third-party services are not controlled by Hypoll. We are not responsible for third-party services, content, products, security, availability, policies, or data practices.
Device Permissions
Hypoll may request access to certain device permissions only when needed for specific features. You can control permissions through your device settings.
You can change your permissions at any time through your device settings. If you disable a permission, some features may not work, but you may still use other parts of Hypoll where available.

Location may be used for location-based features if you choose to use them, such as local discovery, campus-based experiences, safety features, or matching-related features.

6.4 Notifications
Notifications may be used to notify you about matches, replies, invitations, safety updates, account activity, or other service-related updates.
You can control notification preferences through your device settings.
6.5 Other Permissions
Hypoll may request other permissions if needed for future features. If we request additional permissions, the app or your device may provide additional notice.
Some features may not work without the relevant permission, but you may still use other parts of Hypoll where available.
Tracking and Analytics
We may use analytics tools and similar technologies to understand how users interact with Hypoll, improve product performance, detect abuse, measure growth, evaluate campaigns, and improve the service.
If Hypoll uses advertising, attribution, or tracking technologies that require permission under platform rules or applicable law, we will request permission where required.
We may use device identifiers, referral information, campaign information, or analytics information where permitted by law and platform rules.
We do not sell personal information for money. We may use or share aggregated, de-identified, or non-identifying information as described in this Privacy Policy.
Some privacy laws define “sale,” “sharing,” or “targeted advertising” broadly. If our practices are considered a “sale,” “sharing,” or “targeted advertising” under applicable law, we will provide any required notices or choices.
Data Retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide, operate, protect, improve, evaluate, train, and develop Hypoll, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, prevent fraud and abuse, preserve safety and moderation records, maintain backups, and protect Hypoll’s legitimate business interests.
The length of time we retain information may depend on the type of information, the purpose for which it was collected, account status, user settings, safety or moderation needs, legal requirements, technical constraints, backup systems, and business needs.
Following account deletion or account closure, your profile may no longer be visible to other users, but Hypoll may retain certain information for as long as reasonably necessary for safety, security, fraud prevention, abuse prevention, moderation, dispute resolution, legal compliance, backup, audit, or to protect Hypoll and other users.
If an account is removed, suspended, restricted, or banned for safety, abuse, fraud, spam, ban evasion, or policy violations, Hypoll may retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to prevent the user from creating new accounts, investigate harmful conduct, enforce our Terms and Community Guidelines, protect users, preserve platform integrity, and defend Hypoll against claims.
We may retain information necessary to prevent users who were banned, removed, suspended, or restricted from creating new accounts or evading enforcement, where necessary to protect users, Hypoll, or the integrity of the community.
We may retain moderation, safety, fraud-prevention, abuse-prevention, legal, support, account, device, trust, and enforcement records where necessary to protect Hypoll, users, or the public.
When you request deletion, we may retain an audit record of the request and related actions to verify compliance, prevent abuse, resolve disputes, maintain security, and protect Hypoll.
We may retain aggregated, de-identified, pseudonymized, or system-level information for product development, analytics, safety, AI improvement, research, benchmarking, reporting, partnerships, and other lawful business purposes.
Account Deletion and Your Choices
If you create an account, you may initiate account deletion from within the app.
When you request account deletion, we will process the request in accordance with this Privacy Policy, our Terms, and applicable law. Account deletion may remove or disable access to your profile, content, matches, messages, and other account-related information, subject to this Privacy Policy and applicable law.
Account deletion may not remove information that has already been viewed, saved, copied, screenshotted, shared, preserved for safety or legal reasons, or made available to other users through Hypoll’s features.
Some information may be retained where necessary for legal, safety, fraud prevention, abuse prevention, dispute resolution, security, backup, audit, moderation, enforcement, or legitimate business purposes.
You may also have choices to:
Update your profile information.
Control device permissions through your device settings.
Manage notification preferences.
Block users.
Report content or users.
Contact support.
Request access, deletion, correction, or other privacy rights where required by applicable law.
6. Data retention
We keep your information only as long as necessary to provide the app’s functionality.
If you delete your account or send a request, your data will be permanently removed.

We may deny, limit, or delay privacy requests where permitted by law, including if we cannot verify your identity, if the request is unlawful, invalid, excessive, repetitive, technically infeasible, or if fulfilling the request would compromise safety, security, fraud prevention, abuse prevention, moderation, legal compliance, trade secrets, intellectual property, confidential business information, platform integrity, our ability to defend against claims, confidential safety systems, moderation logic, ranking logic, recommendation logic, model behavior, anti-abuse signals, or the privacy or rights of others.
We may also retain certain information despite a privacy request where permitted or required by law, including for legal compliance, safety, security, fraud prevention, abuse prevention, moderation, dispute resolution, backups, audits, enforcement, or legitimate business purposes.
Safety, Reports, Blocks, and Moderation Records
Hypoll uses reports, blocks, moderation records, safety signals, trust signals, integrity signals, and related information to protect users and the community.
When you report content or users, or when you block a user, we may use and store related information to review the issue, enforce our Terms and Community Guidelines, detect patterns of abuse, improve safety systems, prevent ban evasion, and protect Hypoll.
We review safety reports and objectionable content reports within 24 hours.
We may preserve moderation, safety, trust, fraud-prevention, abuse-prevention, device, account, and enforcement records even after content is removed or an account is deleted where necessary for safety, legal compliance, fraud prevention, abuse prevention, dispute resolution, platform integrity, or to defend Hypoll against claims.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information.
However, no method of transmission, storage, or security is completely secure. We cannot guarantee that information will always remain secure.
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for notifying us if you believe your account has been compromised.
7. Children's privacy
Habitline is not intended for children under 13.
We do not knowingly collect data from children.
Children
Hypoll is not intended for users under 18.
You must be at least 18 years old to use Hypoll.
If we learn that a user under 18 has created an account or provided personal information, we may take steps to remove the account and related information, subject to applicable law and safety needs.
International Data Transfers
Hypoll may process, store, and transfer information in the United States and other countries where we, our service providers, vendors, contractors, or partners operate.
